Environmental Stewardship

The Warrensburg Church of the Brethren believes that all Christians share a spiritual responsibility to faithfully care for God's Creation. This stewardship responsibility includes all aspects of the environment in which we live. Melody Irle serves as our representative to the Citizens for Environmental Excellence group which meets regularly in Warrensburg.

We encourage all citizens to limit consumption, to seek a sustainable lifestyle, and to engage in recycling of trash. A local recycling depository is found at the Johnson County Board of Services Sheltered Workshop on Ridgeview Drive.
